Hi guys,
Here's one that I catch myself doing all of the time. I start playing, I lose a point and immediately know why. Because I've planted my feet and stopped bouncing on the balls of my feet. As soon as I scold myself to turn up the energy and move more between hits I do much better.
How does one overcome the dead legs habit and force themselves to move to the ball at all times?
Hi Eddie,
Training is the best place to get habits formed. Lots of footwork drills are good for this.
One thing to think about though is to not move unnecessarily. Focus on moving to the ball and keeping your eyes still while you move. This will make the movement more efficient.
