Sir I'm a chopper and want to know some good exercises to increase my defending skills.
Hi Saatvik,
To warm up before training, do a lot of sides stepping and running. Move in and out away from the table and back to start with.

You don't need to use weights with your shadow swings. Just do it without weights. The weights work in a different way than the swing you are doing, because gravity is dragging your arm down. You can do the swings though.

Chops are vertical so gravity isn't as disturbing for the motion I would assume

Still a different force I think. Better to do something with a pulley with resistance at the angle of the stroke.
